IDX Participants: Two Things You Must Do to Go RESO

RESO logo

REcolorado has been working behind the scenes on our Go RESO project that will bring the listing data in REcolorado’s Matrix MLS system in line with the Real Estate Standards Organization’s (RESO) Data Dictionary.

REcolorado’s IDX data package will be available to brokers via the Web API from CoreLogic’s Trestle™ Data Distribution platform. You may also choose to continue receiving IDX data through a RETS feed.

As a participant receiving an IDX feed, there are two steps you need to take in order to continue accessing REcolorado data at the completion of this project. To continue pulling REcolorado data you must:

1. Choose How You’d like to Receive Data

When REcolorado’s Go RESO project is completed, our IDX data package will be available to brokers via the Web API from CoreLogic’s Trestle™ Data Distribution platform. You may also choose to continue receiving IDX data through a RETS feed.

Now you have a choice:

a. Use Trestle to transition to Web API Next Month.

If you’re already familiar with Trestle and the Web API, you can wait to begin your transition efforts until the data is available, currently anticipated mid-October. The transition must be completed by the end of November. We will follow up with additional instructions when you can begin setting up your Trestle account.

Please note: to use Trestle Web API, CoreLogic will charge an additional $75 fee per month per connection. This fee is in addition to REcolorado’s data licensing fees.

b. Transition to Web API Next Year.

If you would like to use Web API but cannot complete the transition by the end of November, we will grant you temporary access to the new Matrix RETS IDX feed. You will still need to complete data mapping to use this feed.

c. Continue Using a RETS Feed.

If you do not want to use Trestle Web API for your IDX data, you may choose to continue using a RETS Feed. You will still need to remap your data.

To choose option (b) or (c), you must respond to this email or contact finance@REcolorado.com – we will follow up with instructions to access the new IDX RETS feed.

2. Remap your Data by November 30

Regardless of which option you choose, you will need to remap your data by the end of November.
